Duck Soup(Paramount, 1933)
Duck Soup was a Marx Brothers comedy film. It was the last Marx Brothers film to feature Zeppo and their fifth and final film with Paramount (as they had fulfilled their deal with them). While it was (at the time) considered a disappointment in relation to their other films with Paramount, it was not a true flop. Duck Soup is now considered to be a classic and the brothers’ finest film. It was also selected in 1990 by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Film Registry.
