One Voice Billy Gilman (Epic Nashville, 2000)

Written by David Malloy and Don Cook, One Voice was recorded by American country singer Billy Gilman. It was Gilman’s debut single off his debut album of the same name. One Voice is Gilman’s only top 20 appearance on Billboard’s country chart. He was the youngest singer to have a top 40 country music hit. (In 2000 Gilman was only 12 years old.) One Voice chronicles violence from the viewpoint of a child.

One Voice was nominated for Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song (for the songwriters) at the 43rd Grammy Awards.
