Howlin Wolf (Chess, 1962)

Howlin Wolf was the third studio album by Chicago blues singer/guitarist/harmonicist Howlin Wolf. It was a collection of six previously released tracks from the Chess label (from 1960 to 1962). The cover
features an illustration of a rocking chair by Don Bronstein. It is often referred to as “The Rocking Chair” album. In 1985 Howlin Wolf won a Blues Music Award by the Blues Foundation for “Classics of Blues Recordings — Albums.”
