Power Windows Billy Falcon (Mercury, 1991)

Power Windows was written and recorded by American musician Billy Falcon for his debut album, Pretty Blue World. Power Windows tells of Charlie who has material wealth and Louis doesn’t, but he has “the power of love.” The message being love is more important than material goods. Power Windows is Falcon’s only Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 hit, peaking at #35. Falcon relies on real life experiences for his lyrics. Pretty Blue World also featured a song, Heaven’s Highest Hill which tells of how he had to tell his three-year-old daughter of her mother’s passing. Falcon continues to write, perform, record and produce albums, including material for his own daughter. He lives in Nashville. Falcon has released just over a dozen albums.
