Jeans On David Dundas (Chrysalis, 1977)

Jeans On started out life in 1976 as a TV jingle for Brutus Jeans. The commercial was such a hit that the British musician was asked to make it a full-length song and used it on his 1977 self-titled debut album. Jeans On peaked at #3 in the UK (#17 in the U.S.) Dundas recorded a French version of Jeans On called Blue Jeans. Jeans On went to the top of the charts in Germany. It hit #3 in Ireland and South Africa.

In 1998 British electronic musician Fatboy Slim sampled Jeans On in Sho Nuff.
