Bound for Glory (E.P. Dutton, 1943)

Bound for Glory is a partial fictionalized autobiography
of folk singer/songwriter Woody Guthrie. Bound for Glory recounts his
childhood, his travels across the U.S. as a hobo on the railroad and his early years when he attains recognition as a singer. Bound for Glory was loosely used and adapted into a 1976 American film of the same name starring Ronny Cox, Melinda Dillon, Gail Strickland and Randy Quaid.
