Runaround Three Chuckles (Boulevard Records, 1954)

The Three Chuckles were labeled as a rock band from Brooklyn. (Today, they would be classified as a vocal pop group.) They formed in 1950, taking their name from the popular candy. Their only top 20 hit, Runaround was written by truck driver Cirino Colacrai. Runaround was originally the B-side for At Last You Understand. Runaround was picked up for national distribution by RCA Victor and went to #20 in the U.S.

Follow-up (minor) hits were: Times Two, I Love You (#67 in 1955) and And the Angels Sing (#70 in 1956). Members started to move on and The Three Chuckles broke up in 1958.
