Skye McCole Bartusiak (September 28,
1992 – July 19, 2014)
McCole Bartusiak was born in Houston, Texas where she resided until her July 2014 death. McCole Bartusiak was a TV and film actress. Her first role was in The Patriot in 2000 at age 8. She played a young Marilyn Monroe in the TV miniseries Blonde and in Don’t Say a Word alongside Michael Douglas. She appeared in season two of the TV series 24. In 2005 she had a two-week run at the Charlotte Theatre in North Carolina alongside Hilary Swank in The Miracle Worker. Also in 2005 she had her first lead role in the horror film Boogeyman. In her short career, she appeared in 27 films and 24 episodes of 13 TV shows.
On July 19, 2014, McCole Bartusiak was found dead in her apartment. Her mother claimed that McCole Bartusiak did not drink alcohol or engage in drug use; that McCole Bartusiak had been suffering recently from epileptic seizures. McCole Bartusiak was only 21 years old.
