No More (Baby Ima Do Right) by 3LW (Epic, 2001)

3LW (3 Little Women) were Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Naturi Naughton. In the fall of 2000, their debut single No More (Baby Ima Do Right) was released. Things were grand. The song performed well, their debut, self-titled album performed well (certified Platinum, selling 1.3 million U.S. copies). In the summer of 2001, a tour alongside Destiny’s Child, Nelly, Eve and Jessica Simpson was undertaken. In response to the 9/11 attacks, 3LW were asked to record a song What More Can I Give alongside Michael Jackson, Usher, Luther Vandross, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey. They also won 2 Soul Train Music awards for Best New R&B/Hip Hop Artists and Album of the Year.

But, in 2002, their second album A Girl Can Mack started their downfall. Founding members left, their label considered dropping them, arguments and poor sales ensured 3LW’s short career ended in a shambles.
